I am Indhira Joseph also called 'Miss Indhi' by my students, and their parents.

I am an educator by profession and accepted an invitation twenty-eight years ago, to come over to the U.S. and share my talents.  In so doing I left behind ocean breezes and tropical weather and my island home of Sri-Lanka.

My professional journey ever since has been nothing but exciting as I have strived to nurture and educate and thereby translate my joy of learning to all around me so they could believe in themselves.

I have twenty-eight years of experience in the field, and during the last nine years I have also owned and operated my own Montessori School, which has been self funded.

My journey through life, means working hard, being a positive role-model and always standing up for what is good and true.

I have a deep passion when it comes to educating, especially those in their formative years.  I believe in diligence and sacrifice, and have experienced that in so doing priceless results can be achieved and goals can be far surpassed. 

I have a graduate degree in Marriage & Family Counseling, and will work towards getting my license in this field.  Meanwhile, I have decided to also get my license in School Counseling, and am presently engaged in this endeavour.  I feel with my long and successful experience with parents and children, I will be very successful in both these fields.
